I'm Kaity (pronounced ky-tee or keidi), a Creative Director/Copywriter/Amateur Jeweler. I was born and raised in Queens, NY where I began my apprenticeship in the art of covering shit in glitter at my grandfather's Chinese-American restaurant. My training continued at Syracuse University where I studied advertising and sociology. That led to days of people-watching, endless theorizing, and making words pretty at countless agencies and brands. I do things like give constructive criticism, creative direction, campaigns, copywriting, brand identity + voice development, scripting, treatments, manifestos, product naming, taglines, deck writing, concept and content development, (lite) strategy, etc. In short: I do anything that calls for words and ideas. Lately, I’ve been working on building Public Service, a platform dedicated to advancing equity in imagemaking, and New York Calling, a community-based organization mobilizing the creative industry to create PPE for healthcare facilities.
